A set of special sessions will be organized to identify current issues of relevance in the international context for both research and agritourism practices.
The Congress organisers invite all interested professionals, practitioners, researchers, public and private institutions, as well as international networks and initiatives related to agritourism to send their proposal for session referring to one of the four Key Themes of the congress. We welcome thematic proposals deriving from all types of disciplines and concerning both basic and applied research. The link to the concept of Agritourism needs to be evident and you are encouraged to keep in mind the following criteria before submitting your proposal. The session should:

(a) address current research or innovative approaches;

(b) compose a session team composed by experts/researchers of different national origin;

(c) ideally include contributions from both the academia and external experts or policy-makers;

(d) focus on specific regions / countries or promise contributions from different countries;

(e) refer to one or more established research and agritourism networks;

(f) maximise the diffusion of results through, for example, their publication in special issues or books;

(g) desirably include early-career researchers as organisers and/or speakers.
